Ways to Give
Your donations make a tremendous difference!
We all want the best for our children. And we are fortunate that Ledbury provides them with a stimulating learning environment and supportive teachers. But we believe Ledbury can be even better; that our children would benefit from resources that enrich and expand their educational opportunities. Financial support by SAC is critical to helping fill the funding gap between what our students and teachers need and the school’s financial resources allow for.
While its no secret that the TDSB can be a slow-moving, administrative challenge at times, one thing that is certain is that the greatest, most immediate impact you can have in improving your child’s education at Ledbury is through your financial support of SAC. As we have seen through SAC’s spearheading/financing of the Playscape, the A&V Equipment, the Library Renewal, the new Computer Lab and the Track & Field, when the Ledbury community comes together, remarkable achievements can be attained.
This year Ledbury Park E&MS has been allotted approx. $90,000 in funding from the TDBS. Given that almost 35% of the school’s annual budget is taken up by its administrative/office expenses, financial support by SAC is critical to helping fill the funding gap between our students’ and teachers’ needs and the school’s financial resources.
Like every school in the TDSB, SAC relies heavily on fundraising to provide curriculum enrichment. Parent donation is one very important fundraising initiative to the experience that our children benefit from at Ledbury.
Since 2013, SAC has provided over $450,000 funding to Ledbury, which has helped finance a brand new playscape, sports uniforms, new A&V equipment, graduation events, the complete overhaul of our library, STEM materials, art and phys ed enrichment, 100+ ipads/chromebooks/laptops, field trips, speakers and much, much more!
Let there be no doubt that the most immediate impact you can have on improving your child’s education at Ledbury is through your financial support of SAC.
IN ORDER TO CONTINUE TO FUND THESE AMAZING ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS, SAC KINDLY REQUESTS THAT ALL PARENTS MAKE A TAX-DEDUCTIBLE CONTRIBUTION OF A MINIMUM OF $100 PER CHILD FOR THE 2019-20 SCHOOL YEAR. THIS REQUESTED AMOUNT IS NOT MANDATORY AND ANY CONTRIBUTION IS WELCOME.
Without your donations, SAC will not be able to sponsor many of the great enrichment programs your child will enjoy at Ledbury. Every dollar makes a difference and on behalf of SAC, we are very grateful for your support!

Ledbury SAC Birthday Book Program
In an effort to continue to grow our collection of books for the school and throughout the year, we invite you to participate in the Birthday Book Program – new at Ledbury for 2020!
In the month of your child’s birthday, we are asking you to consider the idea of ‘giving a gift’ of a book. For a cost of $20.00, your child may choose a book from our Birthday Book Wish List. All books donated will have a dedication plate inside the cover with your child’s name and noting which birthday they celebrated.
What a great way for parents, and grandparents too, to honour your child(ren) on their birthday while supporting Ledbury Park E&MS.
If you child has already had a birthday, it is not too late! You can give the gift of a book at anytime. Additionally, Ledbury SAC will send reminders of this lasting gift idea throughout the school year .
